I'm sure I've already replied to this about 3hrs ago but it's not showing.

Anyway, I've checked my email settings and they are fine.  See attached.  I think the problem is your end

Thanks.  But the smtp port was already set to 587 (had been for ages) and all the other settings look right (and have previously worked).  See attached.

Hi nickwotton1, apologies for missing that. I've provided the link to email settings to check you've got the correct sending settings. The smtp port should be 587.

Thanks.  But I'm using OE Classic https://www.oeclassic.com/news_p2 not Outlook Express.  I've had TLS1.2 set for ages and sending no problem - until today.  I still think the problem is your end.

Here's the error message I get

[ERROR] - An error occurred. Account: "mail.talktalk.net", Protocol: "SMTP", Task: SMTP send all messages, Server: "smtp.talktalk.net", Port: 465, TLS: Yes (1.2), Error message: "Error in response to the DATA command. SendMail (failed). C: .; R: 550 5.7.1 Reject for policy reason" For more details look in "Log" tab - error messages are marked in red color.

Hi nickwotton1, you won't be able to use outlook express with our security settings. Your client needs to support tls1.2. You will be able to send using TalkTalk webmail.
