Odd email supposedly from my account

Yesterday I was alerted that someone was sending emails in my name'  I contacted TalkTalk and changed my password immediately as they suggested. But I have just seen told more emails are being sent out.  I don't know what I can do, please help me

Please do use the link above and stay vigilant and cautious of unsolicited emails or messages. Verify the sender's identity before providing any sensitive information. Use strong, unique login credentials, enable two-factor authentication, and be alert of messages from unknown sources.

Thank you for your reply, it is a bit disheartening I can't do anything about it.  I don't think it's feasible to warn all my contacts.

But I am grateful you are there to help, I do find it frightening.

 

If there is anything I can do in the future please email me again.

Unfortunately spammers will spoof people's email addresses and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

 

They will eventually move onto another address.

 

Please see the information in this google search. It may be worth informing you contacts do they don't click on any links.
