Please could you check that the emails listed in my profile are linked to my broadband account, and confirm that I will not be charged for Everymail use. To be able to send emails again from my TalkTalk mail account I have had to subscribe to the 30-day free trial of Everymail, and I hope you can resolve this issue before the trial period ends. Thankyou

Hi @mygiddyaunt I have gained access to your account and I do see that the email address that you have added on your private note is linked to your broadband account. I have completed a webform to be excluded from the EveryMail Migration and email address to be working again. This request will be completed within 48 hours of the working days only (Monday to Friday) as hours are not counted over weekends.

@mygiddyaunt you cannot reply to notification emails from Talktalk anyway - they are from a No Reply address.
As long as your legacy email addresses are linked to your current broadband account, staff should be able to resolve the issue through the webform process.
It's always advisable to have alternative email facilities set up as there can be problems sending from some locations abroad, using Talktalk, if the location is associated with spamming and scammers.
So have a Hotmail / Yahoo / Gmail address available as an alternative.

Hi Sabelo-TT, thanks for checking, yes I have now canecelled the 30-day everymail trial at my end. I checked my Talktalk email inbox Wednesday 17th September, and I could not send emails from my Talktalk account. Consequently, I cannot reply to the messages you send to that inbox.

@mygiddyaunt, pleasure. Just to double check, are you able to cancel the 30-day Every Mail trial on your end?

thank you sabelo-TT.

Hello there @mygiddyaunt, I will further investigate this matter on my end with regards to your 30-day trial of Every Mail even though you have an active broadband account and will provide feedback on the resolution.

@mygiddyaunt, what's used to sign into My Account is not an issue, but yes, all email addresses that you need to have linked to that account must be listed in Private Notes in the Personal Information area of your profile.
Staff can then fill in a webform to ensure that no payment to Everymail will be necessary. Some customers are finding that they can't send from some of their addresses nevertheless, but Talktalk is working hard to sort out these cases.
You should not have even started a free trial with Everymail to try to resolve the issue, however, as that's added a further complication to this already complicated situation.
Staff will be here on Friday to advise you how to back out of that.
Please do keep in touch during the day. Staff won't be on here over the weekend, and it was nearly a week since you last posted, so I hope a lot can get done tomorrow if I escalate your thread now.

Hi Nambuso_TT, yes I have subscribed, and have started the free 30 day trial of Everymail. I did this because TT had frozen my ability to send emails from my TT mail account. However I do not wish to start paying for Everymail beyond that date. Since raising this topic, I have changed my Talk Talk account email address to the outlook address provided, rather than having to use my daughter's gmail email address. I hope that information helps.
