Please link my legacy email addresses to my account

Hi,

I am a current TalkTalk Broadband customer. I have 2 legacy email addresses that I need to get linked to my account.

 

I have entered them into my Profile, as instructed on this forum.

Please link them to my account. 

 

NB - I thought I had sorted this out already, but I received a new email today asking me to subscribe to Everymail, so I'm concerned that the linking has not happened.

I'd be grateful for confirmation that the linking has been done successfully.

Hi @amahle-TT 

One of my legacy email addresses has now stopped sending email.  Clearly, the linking of this address to my Broadband Account has not happened. I can see I'm not alone in this problem, but I'm just adding myself to the list of those who need help with this.

Hi there @mikeyb200, you won't lose your email addresses because you are a broadband customer. we have escalated the issue of your email addresses being linked, and you will receive further communication from the appropriate team regarding this matter. Thank you for your patience.

So this morning I've had an email to one of my two legacy email addresses entitled:

Your TalkTalk mailbox will soon be closed

 

I presume this means that the address has not actually been linked to my account?

 

Please, please, TT, link my legacy email addresses!

 

Fortunately, at the moment It's still currently able to send  email, despite yesterday being the cutoff date.

Hi Sabelo, I totally understand, but we have to know soon.

 

We have a lot of online accounts that are linked with those email addresses, and if we lose the ability to send email from them on 28 July - ie Monday next week - unpicking that situation will become very difficult. 

 

If your team haven't completed their work by 28 July, will the deadline be extended?

Hi, It's now more than a week later, and I haven't had any confirmation that my legacy email addresses have been linked to my account.

Has it happened? I really need to know, as time is running out if further action is needed!
