Problem with g-mail addresses

Some of the e-mails I send are not being received and some e-mails sent to me don't arrive. I and the recipients have checked both spam and trash folders but they aren't there. They all seem to be addresses to or from gmail. It is causing problems. I use TalkTalk webmail. Any suggestions for a not very technology minded person to to try to fix?

Hi,  Am having similar problems.  Cannot send any emails to gmail.com addresses.  Can receive them though.  Did you get a solution ?

There does seem to be an issue at the moment which I understand has been raised with the email team.

Your post seems to have been missed so I've escalated this for support staff to review and confirm.
