I am unable to send emails from both Talk Talk addresses listed in my Private notes on my profile.
i have ignored emails regarding the dates for the switchover as Talk Talk staff stated that they were phishing emails. I haven’t signed up to the new service following this advice, given in June when emails started. I was informed that as a Broadband customer, the switch would be automatic and free and that the legacy emails would be honoured. I have been unable to send emails on both addresses since 27 July.

The issue has finally been resolved.
Thanks to all on this forum for support and advice.

Yes, let's hang in there for now. Thanks

I have telephoned today and have been informed that the emails will be working fully again by tomorrow morning. I hope this is true.

I can't confirm I'm sorry. Thanks

No phone call.
No emails sending.
Any idea when they will be sorted?
I am increasingly concerned as the date for all email functions to be stopped is nearing because of the Everymail switch.
I need my email addresses….and I need to know this issue will be resolved. Clearly, the 24 hour time frame I was given over the phone has lapsed.

I suggest we wait for the call and on the meantime, I'll be investigating a bit more on this for you okay. Thanks

Yes… the member of staff said she’d ring me back today as she said I’d have operational emails within 24 hours… no phone call yet, no ability to send emails. Very frustrating.

I am led to believe it is in hand. I am expecting a call from Customer Service today. I was given 24 hour window but no positive results yet.

Hi there @ESTunnacliffe, I am sorry for this. I have checked on your account and the emails are linked they will also remain linked. I will escalate this for you and a relevant team will be in contact, thanks.

@ESTunnacliffe, I have no idea why staff keep passing over your topics on this forum and I will notify the manager as it's happened for all of them.
I don't think Talktalk is sure about how long getting sending going is taking so don't be surprised if it's several days.
All your posts have been escalated so we'll need to check what's gone wrong with staff not picking this up on here.

Supposedly the ‘ form’ has been made to reinstate my two legacy emails. I had no contact by the TalkTalk staff through this forum so contacted Customer services by phone and WhatsApp. I was told the email service would be in place again within 24 hours and am expecting a phone call this morning! No change re: sending from the two addresses yet.

Wait for staff to reply on here first, @ESTunnacliffe as we know they know the system.
What is odd is that they didn't appear to reply to your previous threads. Keep an eye on this today.

Thank you for your reply.
I will telephone TalkTalk today and attempt to get the agent to complete the form for me. This has been very frustrating as I’ve not been able to send emails since 27 July and the Chat team seem unable to do anything.
How do I speak to the right team? The team I’ve dealt with previously seem unable to escalate my problem.

@ESTunnacliffe, I see that you set up two topics previously on this subject:
https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Email/Unable-to-send-emails/td-p/3124771
In neither thread did you post back after our replies.
Please do post back on this one after replies as otherwise nobody knows whether you still need help.
The issue is not related to sending issues from earlier in the year but definitely to do with the migration of emails to Everymail.
Please look out for staff replies on this thread, and follow up on here.
Don't start further new threads.

@ESTunnacliffe, they were not phishing emails but no, you will not be charged to continue using the addresses.
The agent should have completed a form for you, to link your addresses to your current broadband account.
However, there seems to be a delay in getting all of these processed - hence this very inconvenient hiatus in sending from some accounts.
Whatever you do, do not subscribe to Everymail.
