Unable to add account to MS Outlook

We are able to logon to email in Outlook 365 (latest version). I have now tried on 3 different machines (Windows 11, Windows 10, Mac OS Sonoma). Regardless of IMAP configurations it is not allowing the account.
Password Strength is maybe not compliant (11 characters alpha numeric with a symbol). Otherwise, is an MFA required along with an application password? Please advise.

I see no option for application password. Is this only applicable with MFA enabled? (this was the case with gmail).
