Webmails disappearing from inbox

Some emails received weeks ago but kept in my inbox have just disappeared. I can't even find them in deleted or anywhere using the search option

Do you have Thunderbird set to keep a copy on the server?

Hi Ady. I like to move things out of the inbox once sorted so I have only 33 messages in my client mailbox Thunderbird and I like to keep a mirror of this in the webmail. It's only the older ones that keep disappearing. I now only have 21 in the webmail inbox. Thanks Sue

Hi Sue86, Do you have them showing in the mail client you're using? If you do you need to change those settings to leave a copy on the server.

Both. But it's the webmail that's disappeared. 3 more have disappeared today
