Yet again, I cannot send emails from a onetel email account.

I am a TalkTalk fibre customer. The same issue has returned.

I cannot sent emails from a onetel email account:

"Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Reject for policy reason. Please check the message and try again."

 

It was resolved and now has returned.
Any idea why this keeps happening?

Ok so no emails are linked to your MyAccount. I can link your onetel/talktalk emails to your account. Please send me a personal message including the mailboxes you want linking to the account.

Hi

Once logged in I cannot see any option to manage email.


If I do a search n: https://service.tal ktalk.co.uk/manage-email there is a message:

 

Please Note - we have temporarily removed the create/delete mailbox functionality as we are performing some backend maintenance work on our email platform. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Are you suggesting the manage emails in in the app?
If that is the case, I doubt my TalkTalk account is linked with my onetel account.

My TalkTalk login email address is a gmail account.
How can onetel be linked?

I any event do you know why I cannot send emails for policy reasons?

You can check if the account is linked in MyAccount as the email address will show in manage email.

Hi

1. I scan daily and have no known issues. Is there any evidence of unauthorised emails going out from my email address?
2. Passwords were changed.
3. I do not think there is a total block as I can sent emails to  my own onetel.com email address (to myself).

4. Could it be the onetel email address is not associated with my TalkTalk Fibre contract?

Hi CherryPicker9999, it seems we're having problems with customers using weak passwords and malware on their devices being hacked and we're having to block them. Please make sure you've scanned all your internet connected devices with a GOOD quality mail and Malware scanner. Only once that's done please reset the password for the mailbox and then let me know and I'll endeavour to have the account unblocked. If indeed it is blocked.
