I am receiving this message when trying to send emails using outlook or online. Receiving emails is fine.

Message could not be sent to the following recipients: [xxx] (554 - 554 5.7.1 <yyyy@talktalk.net>: Sender address rejected: You are blocked sending mail
)

I assume my account is locked. How do I get it unlocked or can someone on here unlocking please. Thanks.

Incidentally, @shooper, you cannot send a reply to notifications from the community by email.

That's a No Reply address, so won't work anyway.

We need to check to see if there's an email redirection or auto-forward rule in place for your mailbox. Could you check for me?

Safari on ipad.  Opera on Windows.  Also have Edge on Windows.  But it's not working on any of them!

What browser are you using?

Yes I am.  But when I do so, even though I can receive e-mails, I cannot send them.

For example I just tried replying to your e-mail from there and it gave the same error message: "Sender address rejected: You are blocked sending mail"

Are you able to access your TalkTalk email account through https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/?

It'll be the latest version of ipadOS on my ipad - think those you have listed are for apple computers rather than ipad.

The PC is not apple but dell, running windows 10 and fully up to date.

Given same error occurs on ipad (both with mail client and also through webmail) and through webmail on the PC I really don't think it's anything to do with the operating system version

I am currently running a dignostics test as you have reseted the password. Can you tell me the version of the operating system on your devices used?

1.Monterey 12 or latest versions

2.Big Sur 11

3.Catalina or older versions

Hello again

I use my i-pad.  But I've also tried on main computer and same result.  Given it's happening on ipad through email client and also through webmail I can't see it's anything to do with the device.

It started when I got a strange email from someone I didn't know telling me they had my password - and showed what it was.

Could no longer send or receive mail.

Took my ipad to genius bar in apple store. They said talktalk had recently had a data breach, and thought I'd been hacked because of that.  They confirmed nothing wrong with ipad, and helped me reset password for talktalk account.  I could then receive mail, but sending any mail has been impossible since.

Is this resolvable?

thanks

Hi Philile,

have listed the two email addresses in private notes section.

As mentioned earlier, my email address starting with "s" is the one I'm blocked from sending emails from.

My husband's email address starting with "k" is working fine,

thanks

I've clicked on avatars.

asks me to choose an avatar which I've done, but I can't see private notes section there.  Can't see much other than lots of avatars to choose from.

could you advise further?
