iS THIS A SCAM

Hi, I keep getting text messages saying that I am in danger, that my subscription has expired.

Now, I have received a text saying TalkTalk has closed my account, and telling me to do a scan.

Are these texts a scam?   I won't do a scan just in case it is part of the scam, as it showed in the text.

Also, does anyone know the phone number to TalkTalk, so I can call and ask them if my account has been closed.

Thanks for any info.

You can report these phishing emails with these instructions:

Now surfing from a Dell Inspiron 3881 running Windows 11 and a Qualcomm QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter with Sagemcom FAST 5364 router.

These are scams. Do not click on any links. If you have use your own phones scanning software.

Its highly unlikely your account is closed otherwise you would have no internet connection or emails if you use a TalkTalk email address.

If you wish to check though, Try phoning 0345 172 0088
