How are you accessing mail? Via webmail or a third party program like thunderbird or outlook?
Do you mean images embedded within a mail or as an attachment?
Do they appear as an attachment?
If you do t normally use webmail, have you tried viewing the mail within Webmail? Are the images embedded there?
See you sure the images are meant to be embedded as not all images are?
