I have seen the upcoming changes to free talk talk email addresses, I have one that ends onetel.com.....I have not received any communication about the service being closed but reading on the website suggests i will lose my service around end of october... i have emailed talk talk and cannot get them to reply....any help would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to lose my service. Thankyou

I feel extremely let down by both TalkTalk and Everymail regarding this transition. The whole process has been handled very poorly, and it’s clear from reading this forum that many others feel the same way. There has been a real lack of clarity and communication, and at no point have we been given clear information about what to expect or how to protect our accounts.
As a result, my email account has been hijacked during the transition, and I have now exhausted every recovery option available to me. I am left without access to important emails and no practical support from either TalkTalk or Everymail.
Surely a TalkTalk moderator or similar should take some responsibility here and help me recover my account, especially as I was assured this would be possible. I would appreciate a clear response and some real assistance, rather than the buck being passed back and forth between companies.

Thank you for your reply.
I have already contacted Everymail support directly (ticket OXTxxxxxxx) but have not received a resolution so far. The issue is that I am locked out of my Everymail (TalkTalk) account and unable to access recovery options despite updating my talktalk community profile with my alternative email and mobile number as advised.
TalkTalk support previously told me that recovery details could be updated this way, but I am still unable to regain access. I would appreciate any further guidance or escalation you can provide, as I am currently unable to access important  emails.

Once again i  would be grateful for your assistance.

I now have two crime references for this as follows:

Crime ref no: nfrc251007714111 and Nfrc251007714181

Please could a moderator help me to get the recovery email to my alternate email address as promised. I was told it was going to take 24 hours but this has now passed. Thankyou

So i registered with everymail and around a similar time my email was hijacked.....i need somebody within talktalk or everymail to help me achieve a manual reset of the password, at the moment when trying to do it the info is being sent to the hacker....so i am stuck unless i can get help (talktalk have already told me via chat tgat they were sending me a recovery email to an alternative email address i provided but this has not happened- see attached file)....i am in the process of reporting to actionfraud so should have a crime number if this helps to escalate this issue.

Hopefully somebody can help me.

@sykespeter, did you think it was the email for signing up with Everymail?

Did you have another email address that passwords should be sent to?

However if the email address wasn't linked to your more recent Talktalk account, I am not sure if there's anything that staff can do to help.

I'll re-escalate this thread for you.

@sykespeter I'm sorry about that, if your broadband account was disconnected long time ago, you will need to sign up to EveryMail, the link I provided above should have assisted you in signing up. It should take you to the sign-up page if you click on the sign-up option. If it has been a long time since you were a customer of TalkTalk, I will need to escalate the issue of being unable to sign-up to EveryMail.
