unblocking an email address?

somehow an email address has gone into my blocked file. how do i retrieve this back into the allow file?

I assume that by 'Blocked file', you mean 'Blocklist'.

Open TalkTalk Webmail
Click the cogwheel --> Click 'All settings' --> Scroll Down --> Click 'Access Lists'
Click Blocklist, ensue the email address is not there.
Click Allowlist, Click 'Add new address', enter the allowed email address.
