Can I get Freeview channels with the TV box if I don't have an aerial ? i.e. through broadband .. TIA

Hi

Currently all freeview channels need an aerial and some on demand players such as ITVX etc will not work without the aerial connected as they use the signal to identify your region.

It's i-player etc that doesn't, you use that over the Internet, but Freeview itself does need an aerial.
