Hello
I am writing on behalf of my in-laws who have had talk talk for a number of years, a couple of years on fibre.
over the past few weeks I’ve noticed that their internet keeps disconnecting. Normally it’ll start with devices disconnecting and streams stopping. Looking at the lights on the router , the connection light goes red. If I then reboot the router it comes back on again.
I have run a line checks which comes back as ok.
is there anything else I can do?
thanks

Please ask them to post in the community in their own right, @FrankandKath.
Staff usually deal only with the account holder if they need to get agreement for engineer visits etc.
Do you have PoA or are you a nominated user? You may put their details in Private Notes for staff to deal with the preliminaries.
That's found towards the end of Personal Information in the profile area.
Go via your avatar; settings; drop down menu...add your own details in Personal Information.
Their details in Private Notes.
Scroll down further to find the button to SAVE CHANGES.
Staff will not be back before Friday on here, then Monday.
You can reach Talktalk customer services at the hours indicated near the foot of this page, for technical support meanwhile:

Again, ID checks are always made for support purposes, so have your in-laws nearby you to provide that.
