Contract Renewal Cost

My Fibre 150 contract (currently £29.74 / month) ends on 28/08/25 and currently in My Account the only option for renew is a 24 month contract starting at £39.95............way too much in the current financial climate !!!

Sky are currently offering me Fibre 150 starting at £19 / month (24 months) I would like to know how best to contact TalkTalk to try and negotiate donw to somewhere close to the Sky deal (as I would prefer not to have the faff of re-configuring my Eero network to operate with the Sky router even if everyone says this is a simple job).

Is it best to just use the online chat or some other means of communication?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Thanks for letting us know, @icesteelman. That was a remarkably good offer that you had from Sky!

A shame that Talktalk couldn't match it. I hope all goes well for you with your new ISP.

Sorry for the delayed update but I have been a little busy.

Thanks for all the advice, I contacted the retentions team but unfortunately the best they could offer was £26 per month with three months 1/2 price.

Just didn't add up for me so I am now with Sky (hopefully I won't regret it) and so far so good. Simply re-configured my Eero mesh to work from the Sky Hub Router and everything went swimmingly.

Good luck to everyone as I couldn't fault TalkTalk other than price.

Definitely follow Fr8ys's advice, @icesteelman.

You can also try the Retentions  / Loyalty  / Better Value team via Chat.

You can't get anything to do with fixing up a contract done via forum staff  - however they can check details for clarification of anything agreed.

Phone support/ Chat have good deals and avoid unwanted extras that tend to be thrown in via email  / My Account offers.

Check the details carefully and make sure that they really are bespoke to your situation.

Thanks @fr8ys , I'll give the number a try later this week as I'm off out for a few days tomorrow. Hopefully I won;t end up with a long wait / queue.
