Drop outs every 5 to 10 mins

Hi

I'm currently getting Internet Drop outs every 5 to 10 mins for a about 5 seconds each time, whilst Im on calls the call will drop for 5 seconds and Come back

This was happening on the talktalk router supplied so I purchased my own router and it's still happening, I believe it's something to do with the open reach side, I tried turning off the g fast modem for 30 mins and back on, it was on for a long while but then the next day it started happening again, could I get this checked please?

Thanks

Dan

Staff will be back after the weekend. I'm afraid you won't get further help for now via the forum for this, @dannyw13, before Monday.

Hi Chris

Got a text from open reach saying they've fixed the issue but still no dial tone on the landline and no internet it's completely dead, what's the next step?

Thanks

Dan

I've checked the fault ticket again and this has now been raised to Openreach as a non-appointed task. Openreach will investigate and may contact you directly if they need to access your home

OK thanks, it's just that I couldn't book the engineer because the fault ticket was being updated by someone else, I'll try again a bit later

Line test is showing a disconnection in the network now. I'll raise it to Openreach for investigation

Thanks. So when you are on a call does the line just go silent for a few seconds? Do you know if the coincides with the broadband connection dropping?

Hi Dan,

Are you experiencing any problems with your telephone service, any noise on the line?
