Hi,
I currently a fiber 65 customer (best available in my area) with the standard talk talk hub, I’m looking to buy an eero pro 6e mesh network to improve the WiFi in my home. Is the eero pro 6e mesh network compatible with my current wifi package?
Thanks

Morning,
How are you getting on?
Thanks

That looks like the Sagemcom FAST 5364. Slow speed, intermittent dropouts, breaks in the signal or no signal on some or all devices or no internet access might be caused by Wi-Fi interference from other local networks, which can also lead to a permanent reduction in speed. No ISP can be responsible for your local environment, this is mainly a byproduct of the popularity of Wi-Fi.
Generally speaking, the 2.4GHz band suffers a lot more from interference than the much faster 5GHz band, but the 2.4GHz one can sometimes have a better range, but this all depends on your local area.
In other words, I try to help you optimise your Wi-Fi connection. The next stage involves sending out a guide to you to help you get me some important diagnostic results so that I can analyse them for you and recommend changes to your router configuration to solve them.
I only send this out to people who request it.

Thanks for your help.
Yeah only I’m only considering the 6e as I found it with a good discount and thought it would be worth future proofing when full fiber is available. I’m mainly trying to improve dead spot in the house as apposed to speed, as I’ve not had very good experience with the typical WiFi boosters and read that mesh networks are a better alternative. I’ve attached a picture of the router but its just the standard broadband router.

No, I doubt it, unless you use the normal router to connect between your fibre & the eero. The eero Pro 6E is a massive overkill whilst on Fibre 65 anyway, you will never see any advantage via the internet, only traffic that flows between locally connected devices to the eero will be faster and that assumes that you have WiFi 6E network adapters in those devices of course. When it becomes available in your area, have you considered upgrading to Full Fibre 150, where you will get an eero 6 included for free?
Currently, which make/model of TalkTalk router are you using, if you log into that what speed does it show? Then do some speed tests from your devices (one at a time). It may be that improvements could be made with your current set up to speed things up.
