High ping and jitter

Hi today my full fibre 500 went live and to my horror the ping and jitter is off the rails, after 2 years with Virgin I was looking forward to going back to openreach for low latency, will this calm down in a few days as it’s only went live today?

Hopefully as I heard talktalk are good for low latency gaming, this is jumping from 15ms to the 200s with 78 ms jitter

My 150 was all over the place for 2 days and then settled down. I've seen others have similar issues too.

 

Staff can check your line for you but hopefully it too will settle down.
