Hi Everyone. Hope somebody can help.
Our internet goes off every afternoon at about the same time and comes on again at about 11pm. It seems router is trying to connect and Amber flashing light turns to white after a few minutes, stays on white for one minute then back to amber. This goes on for a number of hours then connection restored late at night.
Given new router but same problem happens. Tried everything that talk talk suggests but nothing helps.
Any advice for a 72 year old technophobe would be appreciated.

Can you please get me a copy of the router's system log from a bit before to a bit after one of these periods? That would tell me if the router is causing this problem or not.
Then copy & paste the entries into a PM to me to preserve your privacy. There may be a lot of DNS errors, but that is down to a bug. To do this, log into the router & go to:-
Dashboard > See internet settings > Manage advanced settings > TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub > Maintenance > Logs
Use the Previous & Next buttons to get to the time period. You may have to copy & paste a few pages.

Hi Keith
Tried factory reset number of times but no success. Been cutting out of internet for 3 weeks at the same time every day. Talk Talk don't know what problem is, but thanks for trying.

Have you tried doing a factory reset of the router? With the router turned on, press the small recessed reset switch near the power connector for at least 10 seconds.
