How do I arrange to move a master socket?

The 'Contact us' link on relocating a socket goes nowhere useful.

No problem with the delay - everything is working but want to move the socket as I am reconfiguring my home network

Master socket relocation is viewed as low priority by Openreach so it can take a couple of weeks to get an appointment. Would you like me to arrange for a callback to discuss the master socket relocation with you?

Good morning,

We can arrange for your main socket to be re-located but this would be a chargeable visit. If you'd like to go ahead with this then please let us know and we can raise this for you.

Openreach engineers can also install and replace main phone sockets if requested. This is chargeable at £128.40.

This can be arranged within reason, depending on where the Openreach cabling reaches your home. I believe it costs in the region of £130.
