My hub 2 router hasn't worked for a month. Talk talk engineer has tried 2 different new routers and they all flash orange and don't connect. He also checked all cabling in the house. Service managers keep saying the line is fine but obviously it isn't. They were supposed to ring and book open reach again but nothing. Now apparently it's resolved but it isnt.
Only router that works is my 15 year old one that can't cope with all the connections.
Should i be able to cancel my contract without charge as im not getting the service i paid for as the new routers dont work?

Hi @sharpep
Perhaps the internet connectivity is set wrong in the router?
To check this, please log into the router & go to:-
Dashboard > See internet settings > Manage advanced settings > Internet connectivity
What needs to be set here will depend on the type of fibre that you have. I am guessing that you have Fibre To The Cabinet & copper wires to your property? If that is so, click on the IPv4 button. In there, please ensure that:-
If your fibre type is different, please tell me & I will advise on the correct settings for that.

Hi there @sharpep. I am very sorry to hear this and the fact that you are thinking of leaving TalkTalk. I can look into this for you by running checks to determine the cause of the issue. However as you did ask if you would be able to cancel your contract without any charges, you can refer to the below link to know more about our cancelations policy.

You'd need to phone 03451 720088 to discuss your options, @sharpep , as they are the only people who can process cancellations.
