Hi

I would like to ask if I turn off 5gig connection on my sagecom router and disable band steering will this cause any problems with router I have had to get a new router twice  in the last year because it has gone faulty and lost total connection

I only want the 2.4 gig band owing to 15 devices I have that only work on this band and some require a greater distance than 5 gig offers There is no chance of interference on this band as I live in a sparsely populated area

Thanks for any help

Hi raymundo,

As Divsec says, I can't see any issues either

Hi @raymundo2 I can't see any issues, you could also create a guest WiFi ssid and password on one or both channels.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don't worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
