Once again I am without internet. This router has not even lasted a year. 3 routers in 2 years is a joke and now I need another. Every time I contact them to tell them it is a router issue I am met with you need an engineer. What to send them out check the master socket for the 40th time even though they have replaced it already. Beyond a joke that this is a paid service. Wifi begins to drop out constantly then a few weeks later like clockwork router permanent flashing orange. Anyone else have this issue? Might be time to leave this terrible brand.

I wish I could give you a simple answer, but I don't know. I have suggested a couple of things you can check and if you post back after doing so it will help the support team to help you. There are many possibilities, so sometimes it can just be a process of elimination.

If it is not the router failing then what? The router is hardly under load as we are both out the house 8/9 hours a day. It has one ethernet cable for my pc and the only other connections is via wifi from two mobile phones and two tvs. And explain why then that I am on my third router? Which happens to fix the problem each time. Now going to be without internet for a week minimum based on my last experiences.

I understand your frustration, but these are basic checks that you can easily do which will help move this issue forward. It is unlikely that numerous routers will simply fail with such regularity to be honest, there may be another underlying cause.

Don't have a phone. Internet was constantly dropping while connected. So i did what any sane human would do and reset it. White light but after 5mins drops again. And so on. Now it wont connect at all. The exact same scenario as this time last year and 6 months prior to that. I just want a replacement sent out but now I will have to wait till monday for them to run through the same spiel as always. None of it works btw. And then send an engineer out at an inconvenient time because me and my partner both work. Surprise. To then come to the conclusion that its the router (again). Why can’t they send a router out and I can try it. Been a loyal customer for over 6 years now but the service is appalling. Beyond fed up of paying for a service that hardly works.

The router flashing orange means that it is not connected to the internet. Have you tried switching it off for a full 30 minutes to reset the session? Do you have any issues with your voice service, such as noise on the line? Have you tried connecting at the test socket?
