Third Party Router (Archer AX1800)

Hello,

Having purchased a new third party router (Archer AX1800) I am unable to get it to be issued an IP address by TT. The old router can still connect and I have tried all the various changeouts/resets/reboots that would normally be suggested. I appear to be having the exact same issue as raised in this thread - Archer AX1800 router settings - TalkTalk Help & Support which required some TT intervention. Can this be tried for me too please?

Thanks

Glad to hear that 🙂 If you do ever want to return to the other router again in the future then please let us know as we'll need to make another change here for the TalkTalk router to work.

Hello Michelle,

Thanks for that, yes it's all connected and working now. Thanks very much for such a swift resolution 👍

Hello again,

Thank you. I've made a change now, could you retest with the alternative router in the next 20 minutes please and let us know if it now connects?

Thanks

Michelle
