Unhappy with the Eero router as not enough lan ports; cannot connect phone.

This is the most recent message to TT, it is probably my 6th or 7th, and I have spent many many hours being passed from department to department, then getting disconnected; and having to go through everything all over again is driving me nuts!

:basically I do not consider the Eero router you have provided to be up to spec for my needs; I still cannot connect all my devices because of the lack of lan ports; I don't know what happened with the telephone equipment that you say you have sent, but certainly the openreach engineer did not connect it (not that he would have been able to anyway as there are not enough ports). Can I please have a proper router (BT told me the Eero is not up to scratch. I have been told in the past that I can only use the Eero - this is certainly untrue as other companies provide a proper fibre router?". I was told I could not even ask this question until the service was active (it took just under 6 weeks), though I knew this would be a problem as soon as I unpacked the Eero router. Why provide a supposedly upgraded package, without a fully featured router?! I have even looked on Amazon and they are on sale for less than an Eero, yet TT won't take back the eero and provide a router with at least 4 lan ports. Help please!

Hi JohnSB,

Do you already have a Sagemcom wifi hub? If you do then you can use this instead of the eero if your prefer

Thank you Debbie. I was advised to purchase a network switch, so I will wait and see what you can come up with. They did say they would send the feedback to the team, but there must be many people who are inconvenienced in a similar way when supposedly purchasing a major upgrade. I couldn't believe the Eero only had one spare port! many Thanks again. John

Hi @JohnSB

I can try and request a WIFI hub but I can't guarantee if it be sent, as My Connection wont function correctly if you use the hub when you were supplied with the eero.
