Wi fi channel changing

The wireless channel on the TalkTalk WiFi Hub (Sagecom) keeps changing despite the fact it has been manually set to a static channel. It has taken some time discover that it is TalkTalk that are doing this in the name of WiFi optimisation.

 

 

Please could TalkTalk kindly change the settings on their end to allow a static wireless channel to be selected on the router?

 

Also, can this be made a permanent change this time?

Hi

 

Our team are always ready to help.

 

Just as an FYI for you, optimisation is turned off at the router.  If you replace the router, factory reset the router, or the firmware is updated, then optimisation will turn back on, but we can turn it off quickly 🙂
