2 speed flashing orange light/ no internet?

I had this situation for 5 weeks. Hub 2 ok for 15 months. 2 replacement routers  + 5 Openreach engineers and 1 TalkTalk visit made no difference.

 

It was the router power cord : lots of flash but no ONT sync.

No-one thought to replace the original power unit -- it was flashing after all!

Perhaps 15 months is normal life expectancy? If you get a replacement router use it's power cord!

It is always recommended to use all the new cabling with any replacement router. Glad you got there in the end, though.
