Animal chewed through cable - no internet!

Hi,

 

 

At some point on Monday night/Tuesday morning an animal has chewed through the fibre cabling on the outside of our house and as a result we have no internet. I phoned talktalk yesterday and they advised that an engineer would be round today or tomorrow, and we should get a text this morning to tell us when they would be coming. I’ve not had a text and there seems to be no indication that they are actually coming. Just wondering how to go about actually booking an engineer as we’ve got no internet and as my husband and myself work from home we need our internet and hoping for a fix asap!
