I am a new customer and have been trying since yesterday to get my FTTP service setup. It supposedly went live yesterday but despite about 8 calls to various "technical people" who haven't a clue on what to do other than read a script repeatedly. I am beyond exasperated with dealing with the people who clearly have no understanding beyond their script. Even the customer service/complaints dept don't seem to be able to grasp the problem and why it's not good to have spent hours going around in circles as they insist on going around in circles further! This is the worst start to a supposed service I have ever experienced. Appalling.

Really sorry for the issues you have had, this is not the experience that we would want you to have.
I can see that a complaint has now been raised and has been picked up by a complaints manager they will be able to help you with this.

Forum staff cannot cancel the service for you, @markdonoghue.
You'll need to ring 03451 720088 after 9am. Open till 7pm Monday to Friday, till 6pm on Saturdays.

Further to the above. I have just had the misfortune of speaking to "Kendra" in the so called Technical Support. I want the executives to listen to the entirety of the call...I have never heard anything like it in my life. She purposefully goaded me and then did a comical laugh out loud down the phone to me (this is after me being on hold for the 8th time - this last time being 2 hours). It is difficult to put into words the outrageousness of my experience on the call. She seemed unhinged and should not be allowed to speak to customers. Unbelievably poor service.
I will not be continuing with this order. Talk Talk need to cancel anything to do with my service immediately. I cannot have any more of my time abused by them and I refuse to be treated in the way that I have been spoken to. I will do my upmost to try to get somebody senior to listen to this call as I would hope that they will ensure that Kendra is exited from the organisation urgently.
