Eero 6 not updating

I have 2 eero 6's that will not update to the latest firmware. V7.4.2-15. Currently on 7.4.1-26.

I have tried leaving on overnight to update, tried forcing manual updates etc but nothing happened. States update is in progress. Can you assist please.

That choice is up to you, when a new update is available you get the notification and you can do it then if you want. If you don't take this offer up, then it will do it overnight. With the IT glitch, probably some areas of the country (or eero update servers) came back online before others.

Hi Keith/Debbie/Michelle further update - I unplugged both eero 6's for 30 secs again just now, like last night, waited for both to come back online. Instead of "update in progress" or "restarting" stuck loop message on phone app, the eero device allowed me to attempt another manual update and has successfully completed this time to version 7.4.2-15. Hopefully it was just the IT issue from yesterday Keith although I attempted it at 6.50pm. My units are configured to update automatically 0200hrs-0300hrs but so far I seem to always have to force a manual update when I see a new update notification. Is this normal or should the devices do this themselves overnight?

@vfrchas has retried this now & it updated OK. It does look like it might have been caused by my guess, the current global IT outage.

I have just replied to someone else with the same problem, maybe it is down to the global IT glitch currently going on?

Same thing happening with mine, app says same update available yet when I try to update it fails and still says update available 🤔
