To whom it may concern

 

Yesterday I had my appointment with city fibre to install free full fibre upgrade.

 

Spent two days cleaning up the house,

 

Made myself available for all of yesterday afternoon

 

Little did I know that within two hours of entering my property

 

I would be left with

 

NO WIRED INTERNET CONNECTION

 

NO WIFI

 

NO HOME PHONE LINE

 

Needless to say I was not very impressed !

 

Had they have stated at the offset that this would be the case I would not have let them within a million miles of my property !

 

They cited a blockage between my property & the connection in the street

but failed to tell me as to when or if this would be remedied

 

Furthermore, my new internal box does NOT even have a socket for my home phone.

 

How do I make & receive calls to & from land line ?

 

A COMPLETE & UTTER SHAMBLES !

 

I do not know why I allowed myself to yet again be taken in by this pitiful company.

your live chat help is utterly lamentable,

 

I cannot even make a post on your community help boards as they continually fail by not sending me my confirmation email.

 

Where & when will this nightmare end ?

 

I wish I had never bothered with this upgrade as all it has done is give me problems

 

Would not have had anyone within a mile of my house had I have known it would be this much trouble.

 

As with all things TalkTalk there will not be a single penny in compensation at the end of it !

I am sorry to read this. I understand that they were unable to complete the installation for the reason stated, but puzzled as to why your existing service is not working in the meantime? This has been flagged to the support team here and they will respond as soon as they can.
