I've had a stable connection for about two years. Then Monday 10th I turned off the internet backup on a device and since then the router has not maintained a constant connection. I've reinstated the internet backup. I've raised a ticket REP-16198850 which is closed but I can't contact an agent due to having an open ticket! Essentially after rebooting both the modem and router, even factory reset, any brief moment of connection is lost when a device connects to the WiFi. I've even tried replacing the router with a new one and the same issue. Why won't my eero maintain a white light?

@ferguson I've just tried connecting a device via ethernet directly to the ont while the eero router was showing red and there was no WiFi connection. The result was that there was still no broadband connection.

Hi @RichieC76
What @ferguson means is to temporarily connect a wired device directly to the ONT in place of the eero & try that.

I used an identical eero 6 router supplied by talktalk and used the eero app to replace the old router. I'm not sure what you mean by direct ethernet connection as the router is linked to the ont by ethernet. I tried a factory reset after the first connection drop after replacing the router. This morning the connection is lasting a bit longer, say 15 mins, before disconnecting again.

Which router have you used to replace the eero? Did you uninstall and reinstall the eero completely, rather than just a reset? Have you tried an ethernet connection directly at the ONT to see if that works?
