In the autumn of last year Openreach informed me that Full Fibre (FTTP) was now available to me & that I should contact my ISP to upgrade if required (currently on FTTC 150). I used the Talk Talk Full Fibre checker to confirm & it said yes - up to 900mb. However, the sales team said NO. Since then I have spoken to several of your staff in various departments over the last few months, none of which have been able sort the problem out. The checker continues to say YES, but sales still say NO. I'm out of contract in about 8 weeks & unless this is sorted I'll be moving to another ISP. (Postcode RM17 6PH)

Thanks for the update. Really sorry that it has caused you to leave.

So I called & asked the question and YES, you are correct. If I wasn't on G.Fast the FTTP upgrade would be offered, but TT policy is NOT to offer free upgrades to G.Fast customers. Why couldn't anyone explain this months ago? I've now been told nothing can be done unless I join as a new customer in June when my current contract runs out. Well that's lost them any loyalty I might have had, so I've spoken to another ISP & they're arranging for FTTP 500 to be installed (with VOIP) & at lower cost than I'm currently paying for TT Fibre 150. The Openreach installer is booked for the day my contract ends next month. Within hours of signing up I got an email from TT asking me to call them to discuss options rather than leave them, I don't think so, TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE

I suspect its because you are a Gfast customer, you may need to fully cancel before ordering the FTTP service.
