Hi all,
At the third invitation over the past couple of years I have finally plucked up the courage to accept the offer of a Full Fibre upgrade to my home. This is scheduled for 19th March. Within an hour of accepting the invitation I had two CityFibre vans outside my house. The guys were just making sure all was good to go. They told me that they would bring the router and modem on the day but that TalkTalk would send me a cable - I think it connects the two devices together.
I remember being sent a cable for one of the previous attempts at upgrade but as I didn't need it I sent it back. Having not yet received another cable I'm wondering if the system thinks I already have one and therefore will not be sending me one this time.
When would I expect to receive the cable by please? Is there any way of checking if I am due to be sent one ahead of the installation? I'm worried that I will be left without internet immediately after the upgrade due to the lack of a cable. I accepted the invitation on 26 Feb.
Any help would be welcome.

I phoned the above number and to avoid a long wait I chose to continue the conversation by text message. The text conversation began almost immediately and was wrapped up within 30 minutes. My equipment should arrive 24 to 48 hours prior to installation. Cutting it a bit fine but I'll trust it will arrive in time.
The texting was really easy and the result was good. Let's hope I get the cable in time.
