The system I'm on at the moment is on copper wire, which also feeds my landline phone. The speeds I get are fine by me, as I'm not much interested in streaming etc.
I have been told that I can link into a new full fibre network, run by Open Reach, which will give me faster speeds. Also, I've been told that if I go onto it, I will have VIOP for my landline phone and cannot continue to use my existing phone. Is there anyway that I can use my existing phone on VIOP as it cost me a lot and there are a lot of numbers that I have programmed into the memory?
Is this new system any good and if I decide to switch onto it, what is the process? NB I know the people from TT will say the new system is good but what about the "real" users.

If you upgrade to Full Fibre (FTTP) with Talktalk and wish to keep using your phone number you must make sure you add VOIP at the time you order.
It can't be added later. So, must be requested when you put in the order.

No I have not VOIP with HTTP. I want to find out more about it.

I think he is asking if he should upgrade to Full Fibre, and after doing so, will he be able to use his current analogue phone. The answer is yes.

Morning,
Can I just confirm, have you signed up for the FTTP service with VOIP?
Thanks

Hi @mzungu then it should work equally well with a Voip setup, either directly from the router or an adapter likely included in the package.
You might prefer a definitive answer from Tt but they don't work weekends

My phone is a BT Premium cordless phone with call blocking.
