I would like to know the situation as I applied for full fibre in December and when cityfibre came in January, they were unable to connect as they didn't have a cherry picker. The date was pushed to 20 February and has now been pushed to 16 March 2023.
I contacted Talktalk for clarification, but after hopping from department to department, I was told there is nothing they could do. To add insult to injury, I have received an email stating that I would be connected today from Talktalk. It's as though there is no communication between the companies. Cityfibre is busy putting letters though letterboxes in my area but can't even connect a solitary house, smacks of disbelief.
I would like someone to provide accurate details as Cityfibre say the onus is on Talktalk, at the same time Talktalk say they are at Cityfibres mercy. I'm at loss. I am now sadly contemplating going back to Virgin who incidentally have a 24 month contract at lower value for money. Please assist.
