The light on my WiFi Hub has stopped working. It is now off all the time. The router still seems to be working. Is this normal?
Thank you

Thank you. I have reset the router via the web interface & I also did it using a pin in the back. The light flickers while rebooting but as I write it is now off again. It is only about 2 months old.

Morning,
I'm sorry to hear this. Just before we send a replacement router can I just confirm if you've also tried factory resetting the router please?
Thanks

It sounds like the router might be faulty then. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

Thank you. The Router is a Sagecom Fast5364. i have checked the light setting. it was on but I tried turning it off & then on, it makes no difference. I noticed the light was starting to flicker but now it is off permanently. The Internet does not seem (so far) to be affected.
The Router is about 2 months old.

Have accidentally turned the light off? Assuming that you have one of the Sagemcom FAST5364 or 5464 Wi-Fi Hubs, log into the router & go to:-
Dashboard > See Wi-Fi Settings > Manage Advanced Settings
Then click on the TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub ico. From there click on the Light Control tab
Check that the LEDs option is On.
If you should have the Huawei DG8041W Wi-Fi hub, let me know & I will tell you how to do similar.
