Problems with router

Hi, since yesterday morning I've had no internet. The router light is flashing amber, sometimes stopping for a few seconds and then flashing again. I've restarted the router several times, leaving it switched off for long periods. I've spent over two hours in an online chat with customer support this morning, checking my master socket and other things, but ultimately they couldn't help and have only offered to send me an engineer in three days time.  I work from home and this will cause me real problems.  I did ask if they could just send me a replacement router, but they said they have to send an engineer first.  That's why I'm posting a message here - in the past when I had other issues, you sent me a replacement router without needing to send an engineer.  Please could you do the same for me now?

Thanks for following up.  The new router arrived on Thursday and has fixed the problem.  Fortunately the engineer called before he set out so I was able to tell him not to come.  I'll be returning the old, faulty router when I next pass a post office, hopefully later this week.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, not only can the router not connect to the internet, but I also cannot see the WiFi network name in the list of available networks on my phone or laptop - so I cannot connect to the router's control panel to try to troubleshoot this further.
