Morning,
I signed a new talk talk contract last week upgrading my package from full fibre 500 to full fibre 900. I was told I could expect speed increases the following day (13/12/23). I am still getting 500 speeds (screenshot attached). I am running the speed test directly from my firewall which is patched into the ONT (so there is no need to ask me about wireless signals etc).
Is anyone able to assist, please?

I ended up calling talk talk CS in the end. they made the changes backend and I now getting 900 speeds. FYI for anyone No need to restart any equipment, especially not the ONT

Approximately how long were they switched off for?

I switched off the ONT and router, however, it did not change the speeds. Admittedly it was not for the full 30 minutes.

Hi Jag,
Yes, could you try powering down the ONT for 30 minutes when it's convenient, please let us know how you get on
Thanks

Hi Michelle,
No I have not tried powering down the ONT, is that necessary? If so I will have to find an appropriate time to do this.
I was under the impression this would be some networking change from talk talk's side to get the speed increase.
Regards,
Jag
