Great news. Hope it continues. As said I've not had an issue since turning this off.

I'm now just relying on Ad Block on the PC.

Thank you for everybody’s help. I’ve been on several websites today and have been able to gain access to them all.

So sliding Ad-Blocking switch to off, and then rebooting on my Eero has appeared to have done the job.

(unless I’ve been unfortunate not to have come across those certain websites - fingers crossed).

Thank you Michelle, I’ve now rebooted the EERO with the Ad Blocker off, as it was suggested to me.

I will know whether this has worked when I’m next on the web.

thanks .. Bill

Oh, and if it's like my issue was, is it always links from a Google search to a site that usually sells things, i.e ad click links. It seems like it from your post.

An alternative is not to click sponsored links but go to the firms site direct.

If you still have issues can you post links to a couple that fail and I'll test on mine tomorrow.

Good point. Let me now reboot the eero, with the ad blocker turned off.

I haven’t tried that.

will get back to you

That was the response I got with as blocker on.

Turning the blocker off solved it for me.

Once changed the value the box should restart for it to take effect.

Thank you for your reply. Yes the ad blocker is still on. I will switch it off again - not had any success yet either switched on or off.

Did you test the sites with the Eero ad blocker still off, @WHALLETT ?

I’m still having issues when trying to connect to some websites with my eero router. But if I go off WiFi and back to normal 4G then alls well. Please advise if this can be corrected. This is a message a few minutes ago .

Many thanks for your suggestion. I’ve done as you said and turned off ad blocking.

I will do the testing tomorrow as it’s always random websites, I will have to click on a few.

it’s only been happening for 2/3 weeks, it could have started at the time of the last eero update - but I can’t be sure.

Yes probably. It's probably due to the ad blocker within the Eero app being turned on.

Open the app and under advanced security check if this is set to on. Turn it off and retest.

Did it work?
