Hi ya I keep getting a website error message when trying to log in or create an account.

I was sent an email to confirm my work email but when I click on it i get the website error.

I had an account over a year ago using my personal email and even when I tried to log in using this email i still get the error message.

I have tried on 2 phones and my PC using chrome and edge but nothing works.

All history is deleted and I have run ccleaner, my antivirus is Norton but unsure how to turn it off temporary to see if its that.

The log in website I'm trying to access is https://academy.aneemo.com/p/rough-sleeper-mental-health-awareness-free

update i can access the site and login when using my mobile data and also a different WiFi network but not at home on my TT WiFi.

Thanks

How do i log a complaint against Sumit?

I have just done an online chat with Keneth and he fixed my issue in ten minutes by turning off scam protection and virus alerts.

No messing with router settings or DNS and command prompt stuff

Keneth is a mega huge credit to TT and that Sumit needs re training or sacking.

Thanks

I'm really sorry about this, I'm unable to assist with full fibre hence I've directed you to a department that can help. Please hang in there and have them complete diagnostics on this.

Ugg and double Ugg all they hung on me and told me to do an online check now talking to on line chat ekkkkkkk.

So much easier and no stress using this forum in the old days to get things sorted.

All they have done is given me tons of things to check in a list and then told me to take my time and now they have ended the chat all in the space of 3 minutes!!! seriously

Doing the jobs ain't the issues but when they say they will be here to help and then just end the chat!"  not happy

The agent is called Sumit

  1. Check Router DNS Settings

Sometimes TalkTalk routers use custom DNS that may block certain sites.

Log in to your router admin page (192.168.1.1)

Go to Advanced Settings > Internet > DNS

Change DNS to:

Primary: 8.8.8.8

Secondary: 8.8.4.4 (Google DNS)

Save and reboot the router.

  1. Disable WebSafe / HomeSafe Filters

TalkTalk has built-in filters that may block educational or login pages.

Go to TalkTalk My Account

Navigate to My Services > WebSafe

Turn off KidsSafe and VirusSafe

Wait 10–15 minutes and try accessing the site again.

  1. Temporarily Disable Norton Antivirus

To test if Norton is interfering:

Open Norton

Go to Settings > Real-Time Protection

Temporarily disable Smart Firewall and Web Protection

Try accessing the site again

⚠️ Don’t forget to turn Norton back on after testing.

  1. Flush DNS Cache on Your PC

Sometimes your computer stores outdated DNS info.

Open Command Prompt as Administrator

Type: ipconfig /flushdns

Press Enter

Here’s how you can find and open Command Prompt on your Windows PC:

🖥️ Method 1: Using the Start Menu

Click the Start button (Windows icon) in the bottom-left corner.

Type cmd or Command Prompt in the search bar.

Right-click on Command Prompt in the results.

Select “Run as administrator” (important for DNS flush).

🖱️ Method 2: Using Keyboard Shortcut

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.

Type cmd and press Enter.

To run as administrator, instead type cmd, then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
