It would help to know how exactly how you are conducting the speed test and what router you have.

1. Direct connection to the ONT. This eliminates routers and switches from affecting the speed test so you should get maximum speeds..

2. Via your router through a wired connection, this also eliminates added switch issues, wifi issues, extender issues etc.

3. Via Wi-Fi, this will unlikely to ever achieve the advertised throughput.

Once you go over 100 Mbps you may find that the DEVICE becomes the limiting factor.

Some ethernet ports are limited to 100, some WiFi adapters will have link rates below the incoming line speed, especially as you move away from the router.

My laptop is connected to the 5 Ghz band about 10 feet from the router and the up/down links speeds to the router are 390/390 which is as fast as it ever gets with this WiFi 5 adapter.

If you have a PC or laptop that supports a wired (Ethernet) connection to the router, temporarily connect that to the ONT in place of the Eero. Now do a speed test, what do you get now?
