These are offered at various times, along with gifts, to encourage people to sign up or renew their contracts.
Like me (a customer for nearly 20 years), you have not been lucky enough to be in a renewal situation where these are on offer.
Such is life, I'm afraid. Those who loyally renew don't get rewarded.
It would cost far too much, and not be commercially viable, just to give out a gift card to everyone who has been a customer for xx number of years.
