eero 6 using wrong channel

The 5GHz band of my eero 6s have suddenly started using channel 122. This is above the channel range supported by the Wi-Fi adapter in my PC (RTL8821CE) and now I can only use the 2.4GHz band, which is very slow. I understand that there is a patch for this, please can it be applied ASAP?

Hi Michelle,

Thank you. At the moment I am on channel 116 - technically still too high but showing 5GHz. I am hoping this is steady and I will let you know if anything changes.

Hi @Anonymous

This just needs the standard patch applied by eero support via Devices to restrict the eeros to channels 36 - 48, This is the same patch that you got applied to my errors some time ago.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - TalkTalk Help & Support
