Hi my caller display has not worked since around last July, when my service was migrated from Shell to talktalk. I have checked that the problem is not my phone by taking my phone to my mother in law's house where the caller display function works okay. I reported the fault ages ago and raised a complaint but talktalk still have not fixed the fault. They have texted me many times to tell me they will contact me at a certain time, (but often they do not contact me). When they do contact me they say they will reset the line and it should be working in one or two days, and they will contact me to confirm that it is now working. But they do not contact me to see if it is working, and the caller display remains faulty. I dont understand why they are unable to fix this fault

The caller display shows active on “my account” but when I change the status I can not update or save the new setting,, so when I look at the status again it has not changed. Also The caller display setting on “my account” is highlighted in pink and I don’t know if that is relevant.

Does the Caller Display service show as active if you log into your My Account? If it does then could you try removing the Caller Display service, wait at least 4 hours and then re-add it again in your My Account.

I have contacted the Shell migration team along with many other teams at talktalk, but they seem unable to fix the problem, and seem to have given up trying

A lot of issues for former Shell customers are still only dealt with by the Shell Migration team, @Spider1955, so these are the people to try to speak to during the day.
