Connecting landline phone upstairs to new ViOP / full fibre ?

Today I had an outreach engineer come and install full fibre.  All seems to be working well.  The landline phone downstairs simply got plugged into the back of the new wi-fi hub.

However I now have a landline phone beside the bed upstairs which obviously does not work since it was using the copper wires.

So my question, is there an easy way to hook this landline phone into the new wifi hub so I can make VoIP calls upstairs ?

Thanks in anticipation of someone knowing an easy way !!!

Thanks for comments, it seems that I will have to get an additional handset to match the phone downstairs. xxx

Hi Lissy,

The only solution I can think of is to use a cordless phone base station at the router with additional cordless handset.

Thanks

Yes not too keen on buying new phones, wondered if there was an adapter or something I can add to upstairs phone to make it hook into the wifi ?

Is it an analogue phone plugged into an extension socket? If so, the easy solution is to buy a multiple wireless handset bundle.
