Please could somebody advise? I have semi-fibre (Fibre 65) and an analogue corded landline phone.
1) When the digital switchover happens, will TalkTalk automatically send me the cable for connecting my phone to the router?
2) Also, I understand that TalkTalk may provide a power bank to older customers so that their router/phone will still function in the event of a power cut. Does this have to be applied for?
Thanks for your help.

Hi.
Sorry for belated response, but in terms of the answer by Karl to your second question, I think it is misleading and not anywhere near supportive or understanding enough.
You should push TalkTalk further on this point as I believe they have a duty to provide a resilience option (which includes things like battery back up) to vulnerable users, including those affected by potential power cuts/no or poor mobile signal options.
See the following Age Uk and UK Government websites for more info (I’ve also included screenshots from the webpages):

Hi
If you take full fibre, depending on the package, you will either be supplied with the Wi-Fi Hub 2 with the phone socket on the back, or the EERO router and a Digital Voice Adapter to connect your phone handset to.
TalkTalk do not currently provide a battery back up system for the fibre router.
Thanks
Karl.
