Hi,

My landline is not working, in CB24 area - I know that a neighbour is also affected. The error is 'line cord error'.
Please advise - urgent.

I've looked into the account and see you had an engineer booked for today however the appointment was cancelled as it's no longer needed. This must be due to the Openreach Proactive Infrastructure Event, which might be the cause of the issue you've been having.   I can also confirm that the case has been escalated to our specialist team. There is also a call back booked for you for the 28/10/2025 between 12h00-14h00. They should explain everything on the call, I understand how frustrating it must be for you, but rest assured we are looking into it, and I can assure you we are doing our best to have it fixed as soon as possible.

That's right. The fault has been logged and because we're on the priority fault register, an Openreach engineer appointment was made for this morning, 8-1pm. However, nobody has shown up. How to report this?

It's all frustrating.

Hi there @Paraminder. I am very sorry to hear this. Just to confirm you are unable to make and receive calls on your landline?

Are you on a traditional landline or the new Digital Voice? If the latter, which make/model of router do you have?
